King David's Battles

In my role as Combat Designer for King David’s Battles at TruPlay Games, I was responsible for designing, tuning, and balancing enemies, weapons, armor, and player abilities to ensure engaging and dynamic gameplay. I adjusted the timing of enemy attacks based on player feedback to maintain a challenging yet enjoyable experience. Collaborating with VFX, SFX artists, 3D modelers, and animators, I ensured that all elements looked, sounded, and felt immersive. Additionally, I created loot tables for balanced item progression and developed 30 top-down shooter levels, integrating various gameplay elements to enhance player engagement. I worked closely with the QA team to identify and resolve bugs, ensuring continuous improvement based on player and management feedback.
