King David's Battles

In my role as Lead Combat Designer for King David’s Battles at TruPlay Games, I designed, tuned, and balanced enemies, weapons, armor, and player abilities to create engaging gameplay. I adjusted enemy attack timing based on player feedback, maintaining a challenging yet enjoyable experience. I collaborated with VFX and SFX artists, 3D modelers, and animators to ensure all elements appeared, sounded, and felt immersive. I also created loot tables to maintain balanced item progression and developed 30 levels, incorporating various gameplay elements to enhance player engagement. Additionally, I worked closely with the engineering team to ensure designs were implemented accurately. I collaborated with the QA team to identify and resolve bugs, driving continuous improvements based on player and management feedback.
