Roles: Level Designer, Puzzle Designer, and QA

As a Level Designer for Maple and The Forest of Words at TruPlay Games, I designed and implemented over 10 engaging side-scroller levels featuring logic puzzles centered on unique character abilities, narrative triggers, and enemies. My work played a key role in the game achieving 3rd place in retention and play time across the platform, reflecting the success of the immersive and well-crafted gameplay experience.

In this role, I tuned character abilities, revised puzzles, and iterated on level designs based on player feedback to enhance game flow and optimize gameplay pace, ensuring a smooth and engaging player experience. I also collaborated closely with project leads and the QA team to refine level layouts, fine-tune character movements, and resolve bugs, showcasing my dedication to delivering a high-quality, polished game.
